My best friend's hair is dry and brittle, I guess from too much coloring, she is Indian?

lives in New York, I was wondering is there good Indian shampoo that she can try for her hair type, the shampoo in America is catered more towards Cocasion and African American hair types

Shampoos whether Indian or foreign will not rectify hair that has already damaged. Your friend will have to wait for the hair to live its life. Meanwhile use any one of these shampoos (Any Brand ) - For Dry %26amp; Brittle Hair or For Damaged Hair. Make sure the product is from a good company like Loreal or Dove or any other.

You can also tell your friend to use a High Protein Conditioner after each wash, and also to apply a Leave on Conditioner or better still Hair Moisturizer.

Oil hair the night before shampooing - Olive Oil could be used, it will do wonders for her hair.

If she can bear the smell then have her apply egg yolk on the hair before shampooing Leave on for 15 minutes..

Getting a regular trim would also help.

Do not blow dry hair, towel dry and leave to dry naturally.

Are your friend too shy to ask the question in person !!

Use Garnier Fructis Shampoo and Parachute coconut oil.

Apply the oil in the night before going to bed. Shampoo in the morning.

Then apply Garnier Fructis conditioner for five minutes.

Wash with water. Dry hair before making any knot.
