My hair is crazy poofy.?

it's african american hair. it's been relaxed, but summer is coming, i want to grow it out, and i want to stop frying it with the flat iron. I have side bangs that I know for a fact that i look terrible if i pulled them back, but are there any products that will control the poof, if atleast alittle bit? or any hairstyles that wouldn't look terrible?

please don't answer with antipoof products if your hair is pinstright and/or really thin.

thanksss.

I'm pretty sure pantene has a good line out specifically for african american hair. from what i hear it works pretty well. good luck!

My hair is crazy poofy.?

well i think u should just rap your hair because if u use a lot of cueling irons, it can damage your hair, and i dont know how old u are but u can use jost for me leaving conditioner

I used to have poofy hair but I got a relaxer. During the summer I usually get it braided. I can't really siggest anything for you but to get a relaxer in order to make the poofiness reduce and not having to put a flat iron through it. The only thing is you are going to wrap it every night and put oil or grease on it. Relaxers usually last for 8 weeks so I hope this helps

dye it. not kidding. even with dark hair.

I dont know if this works on hair for african americans, but you can ask at a local beauty supply.

I have extremely poofy hair, and these 2 products work miracles for me:

1.Redken makes this white cream that comes in a pump, it looks like milk

2.And Enjoy makes a palmade that comes in a yellow tub. (usually I take a nickel size amount out and put it on my hand. then I go to the sink and add a little water to make it more plyable)

they are both at the beauty supply store, good luck!
