It's not quite time for a touch up (I do them at home) It looks so dull. What can I use on African American hair to make it shine and frizz free. CAn I use Velcro rollers on my hair. I want loose curls the foam leve them tight with prints in them.

Try something light like Kemi oil, Tea tree oil, or carrot oil. Conditioning your hair is important, leave it in for at least 5 minutes if you have a dryer to sit under that would be perfect, if not keep the conditioner in long enough to really penetrate hair well. Also remember to wrap your hair at night either with a scarf or bonnet. In regard to the Velcro rollers, honestly I don閳ユ獩 think you will get the affect you are looking for. The curls will be too lose to hold or won閳ユ獩 really curl at all. Try a ceramic flat iron very simple to use. The heat will press hair and curl at the same time. Remember to oil.
