Biracial hair care question?

I was needing to know if the book Wavy, Curly, Kinky: The African American Hair Care Guide by Deborah R. Lilly would be a good book to use on biracial hair

Biracial hair care question?

Depends on how much the hair is like african american hair. Is it more kinky/frizzy or soft/flowing? But wouldn't hurt to try!

My grandchild's tri-racial hair is wavy. I buy glycerin in Walmart and use it as a rinse with water.

I'm sure it would be great. Matter-of-fact, I'm going to see i I can find it for myself. I guess you could describe my hair as biracial and the only thing I do is get a relaxer every so often. I don't leave it in for long, maybe 5 - 7 minutes. It relaxes my hair enough to show it's natural beauty. It also controls the frizzes. I live in the US and I always get compliments on my hair from all races because my hair always looks good. I prefer to wear a more natural, somewhat wavy/curly style -- so I keep mine cut rather short.

I must add that I am African American (AA), but most AA stylist cannot really do my hair. Especially, if they follow the same processes that they follow with their other clients. On the other hand, when I find a non-AA stylist who doesn't stereotype my hair and is not apprehensive willing to work with it -- they actually do the best work.
