Should I put relaxer shampoo on my hair?

In the super market they sell those relaxer shampoos, they are usually for african american hair so it makes it smoother right?

I have heard here that people with normal hair can put that on to make it staright, isn't too stong, wont it do bad for my hair?? My hair is wavy and has alot of volume I want to reduce volume and make it smooth and straight, should I go for those hair relaxers??

the actual shampoo wont have any chemicals in it, though these products for african americans will tend to leave your hair softer since we tend to need more conditioing. I say go for it!
