and what kind of items do you buy? i need some help on what hair products to get? i have african-american hair and no matter what i put on it, it turns dry the next hour? can i have some help

My hair used to be very dry (over worked from perming and living in a very dry climate). I used Luster's Pink Oil at night. It's really old school stuff but it was great at moisturizing my hair. I would braid my hair (it was fairly long) with Pink Oil in it before bed. It was not expensive at all.

i am not positive on this because i dont kow a whole lot about your hair type, but generally speaking- use a natural oil product that is leave in and put like a "slumber cap"over it.. sleep with it on, the cap will help keep the moisture in and give the oils a chance to penetrate

about 50$... plus a hair cut in there. nothing to insane......for black hair use oil based products like olive oil...and silicone dioxide. Make sure to avoid sulfates in your shampoo and conditioners cause it will dry it more.and dont be afraid to NOT rinse out all of your conditioner.

Wow! it depends on what I buy. About 16 for the conditioner. I have very long hair and use Pantene. Other brands that are cheaper are watered down, so I use more of them, thus saving not much in the long run.

A bottle of shampoo lasts about two months so say a dollar for that.

I rarely use any other hair care product, so about a dollar for those also.

But here is where it gets sketchy. I buy a lot of hair pretties and such. So some months I may pay 10 to 15, some months I buy none. I say the average month about 5 for pretties. So all told it is about 25 a month. It is that durn conditioner that makes it so high.
