you could wash and condition your hair, then part it and twist it wet with mousse or setting lotion and roll the ends. or corn row it wet with mousse or setting lotion and roll it at the ends, or roll it with perm rods with mousse or setting lotion. do not use gel it makes your hair really nappy.
