When is it a good time to put a relaxer on your hair after swimming?(african american females answer)?

Sorry I am not African-American but I do have a neice that I helped raise that is. You have to get all the clorine out, and just follow the directions on your brand of relaxer for after a shower. Sometimes her dad would put regular hair conditioner in her hair after swimming.
