it all depends on the way your hair grows, everyone's hair is diffrent!!!! Make sure you use a good grease or gro strong -- avail. at a black salon or the black hair section of a separtment store!

Your hair? Dunno, man s'your hair.

I'm an african-american man...How long should hair be after 2 months of growing?

there is no way to tell how long your hair should be because everyones hair grows at different rates. It has to do with genetics

I'm an african-american man...How long should hair be after 2 months of growing?

everyone's hair grows at different rates so its hard to say.

I have 2 sons and their hair grows at a different pace. One grows about 1/2 and inch a month and the others grows about an inch (super fast). I use an oil called "Doo Gro" Stimulating Growth oil and it seems to help, as well as African Gold Super Sure Gro Herbal hair and scalp conditioner. Both of their hair is braided and past their shoulders.

Best wishes.

Can anyone suggest a good product for hair???

kera care carries great treatment products. my sister has cut her hair and is currently using kera care treatments for her hair when she doesn't go to the salon. it leaves her hair bouncy and soft. i'm going to buy the treatment she is using. (my hair is natural but straightened, it's past the middle of my back. i need a good treatment to maintain it.) kera care is bit expensive but after seeing my sister's results, i'll pay the price. there is also a line called "at one with nature". they carry a great reconstruction conditioner that i use. it leaves your hair veeery soft. i've tried other conditioners and i always go back to it. it's not expensive. pantene has a line called "hydrating curls". they carry a shampoo and conditioner that is very good. (i've tried them all, girl! lol!) it's not expensive. i wish i could tell you the exact prices. i'm in Toronto so the prices may vary a bit. good luck with finding a good treatment i hope those suggestions helped. i know how hard it is to cut your hair and grow it back in a healthy manner.

These tips will help your hair growth, for African American hair moisture is key! Be sure to use oils in your hair and do deep conditioning treatments, avoid chemical proccessing as much as possible.

1.) Seaweeds, help stimulate the thyroid and give minerals for the proper health of the hair

2.) Spinach is great for the hair, contains lots of minerals,as are all the green vegetables.

3.) Protein your hair is made of protein so make sure you are getting it in either animal or vegetable form such as fish,chicken,beef,legumes,nuts... and cheese.Or protein drinks.

4.) take a good b-vitamin supplement with biotin which increases hair growth.

5.)MSM contains naturally occuring sulfer and will make your hair and nails grow faster.

6.) silica

this combined with a good scalp massage with herbal hair oil will do wonders for your hair. Avoid brushing ur hair when its wet,and use a natural shampoo such as lamas chinese stimulating shampoo or Jason thin to thick.

Will my hair still get damaged if I use a 2" ceramic flat iron 1 a week and wrap it at night?

S there like sum kind of loosining curls spray or mousse or whatever to help my hair?best awser =12 points?

when you get out of the shower, brush your hair really well with a half boar half ceramic round brish, and put a quarter sized amount of Smooth And Shine Hair Polisher all over your hair from roots to ends and comb your fingers through. then comb a handful of Herbal Essences Totally Twizted Curling Mousse in your hair with your fingers. then blow dry your hair with COLD air NOT hot. and put it in a low ponytail for 5 minutes, then let it loose. when your done, spray some aerosol hairspray all over your hair[doesnt matter which one] hope that helps

Hoe r u supposed to use a hair comb??plz helpo?

okay i bought some hair combs and i was wondering how r u supposed 2 use them on african american hair??plz help btw my hair is on my shoulder.

Hoe r u supposed to use a hair comb??plz helpo?

You are going to need wide tooth haircombs depending on your hair type. I don't know if your hair's curly, kinky, relaxed, or permed because just saying that you have "African-American hair" is not telling me anything.

Take care to not tug too much on your hair or else it will lead to breakage.

How do I spike my hair?

I have been dying to liberty spike my hair but I have african american hair so what gel would do the job? Should I straighten it first and should it be the max like a nine on the scale of one to ten for hold? thanx

How do I spike my hair?

My brother always spiked his hair growing up and the best thing that we found to make it stand so well is egg whites. Take the egg whites from the egg and use it as a gel it works every time and it washes out.

How do I spike my hair?

you should use gel any kind works

hey, i am black too

when i want to do cute styles

i use gel

How do I spike my hair?

well use super gel and sprits and I'm African American too and i use gel and sometimes gel and sprits.

How do I spike my hair?

Buy hair glue... it's in a yellow tube on the top shelf at WalMart. It's called Got 2 B glued.

How do I spike my hair?

my advice to u is don't wash your hair, straighten your hair, then tease your hair with a comb. then apply styling gel and bring your hair up with your fingers.

How do I spike my hair?

use Gorilla Glue it works the best.............................

Kinda hard to wash out though

How do I spike my hair?

old school punks and rudeboys used straight up glue. works like a charm.

How do I spike my hair?

no GLUE. Moose, holding spray, and a dryer

This will do the trick Have fun

Are all African-American women with long, straight hair wearing weaves?

Nope, not all of them. I am one that don't wear weaves. My hair is natural with no chemicals and it is very long.

Are all African-American women with long, straight hair wearing weaves?

Most of them and it is nice.

Are all African-American women with long, straight hair wearing weaves?

not all

Are all African-American women with long, straight hair wearing weaves?

African American women can get "perms" to straighten the natural curliness in their hair.

Are all African-American women with long, straight hair wearing weaves?

I cant say that ALL do because there are chemical processes that can straighten hair and make it more manageable, but all my friends who are African American (and dont go natural or have braids) have weaves.

They say it is easier to get a weave than it is to grow their own hair out since it is pretty course and curly and doesn't grow very long. Plus, the chemical processes available would tend to make the hair more brittle so that also doesn't allow them to grow their hair as long as they would like.

In my experience, any African American woman with straight hair past her shoulders has a weave. You would probably have to ask someone with personal experience in this area though, like a hairdresser.

Hope this helps.

Are all African-American women with long, straight hair wearing weaves?

My hair was waist length. Not straight....I never liked straight hair on me. My mother could sit on her hair when I was a kid, and my great grandmother who had thick wavy hair could stand on hers. Many Black Women have long hair. Some straighten it, some do not. Many White women with long straight hair (Paris Hilton) wear extensions.

Are all African-American women with long, straight hair wearing weaves?

The answer to your question is no. Some Black women grow their hair out and then either use perms to straighten out their hair or let their hair stay natural.

Are all African-American women with long, straight hair wearing weaves?

YES. Its called Malaysian Hair. Im a stylist.

Are all African-American women with long, straight hair wearing weaves?

no it depends on heredity, lifestyle and a number of many other things...most celebrities of all races use extensions or weaves because constant styling breaks off their own hair...look at paris hilton ,beyonce, nicole richie, jessica simpson, halle berry and quite a few more all use "weaves" when i was younger living in texas my hair was thick, wavy and to the middle of my back...i move to cali and it thins out and now goes to a little above my bra line... my great grandmother had hair to her butt...thick luxurious silver hair...not grey not salt and pepper but beautiful silver hair... it all depends

Are all African-American women with long, straight hair wearing weaves?

No, a few of my friends with beautiful long hair grew their own, and so did I. We never added fake hair to our heads.
